Nannas Easy Hamburger Lasagna

You will need

1 lb hamburger

2 jars of your favorite pasta sauce, I use Paul Newman’s Socaroni with peppers, onions and mushrooms. (Never use canned tomatoes - see below)

2 8oz bags shredded Mozzarella cheese

No Boil lasagna noodles

9x13 baking dish

Pam cooking spray - Olive Oil is good but original and butter will work just the same.

WARNING!! Never use canned tomatoes! WARNING!!

New health findings tell us to never use canned tomatoes.

Something about the lining in the can causes a hormone to leak into the tomatoes. I know you don't want your loved ones or yourself eating these.

Here are some links for you to check out.

First prepare your sauce. Scramble hamburger till fully cooked, then add the 2 jars of pasta sauce and heat through, this will serve as your lasagna sauce.

Coat the 9x13 baking dish with Pam cooking spray.

Pour about ½ cup of your lasagna sauce into the 9x13 baking dish to start the first layer.

Place the No Boil lasagna noodles on top of the sauce. Next Cover them with sauce, besure to cover them completely as the sauce is needed to make the noodles soft.

Sprinkle half the bag of Mozzarella cheese onto the sauce

and add another layer of No Boil lasagna noodles, sauce and the rest of the cheese, continue layering till you top with cheese.

Cover with foil, following cooking instructions on the No Boil lasagna noodles, mine says to cook at 350 degree oven for 30 mins. Check your noodles to be sure they are soft, if not continue cooking, checking every 10 minutes or so.

Allow to cool some before cutting. Serve with Salad and Garlic French bread Yum Yum!!

Make ahead and refrigerate

You can make ahead and refrigerate, remember to put your cold dish in a cold oven so it will warm up as the oven warms up. Add 15 - 20 minutes to your cooking time for the warm up.
